And you ask a lot of questions

And you try to simplify your life

For what’s left inside 
And you maximize your consciousness as to the best of your ability wasteline
And you minimize your references
And you stand quiet when you speak….so loud
And you make the most of your pathetic life
And you seem to be doing ok 
And you watch the hours tick and sometimes just go to bed to pass the time
And you believe in something but not sure what it is but you do seem to say that you walk with god
And that there is a plan and you are not really sure of it
And all you know is that when the tour bus passes by you hear them talk about how electric lady studios is right here where jimi was and every half hour our so you can count on it!
And you walk sometimes with god 
And you ask a lot of questions
And you find differences
And you try and simplify your life

And you make the best of the concerts you attended
And you do have some stories
That you tell when you are in a crowd of other men so you feel strong
But you weep at home at night and just want to be held tight
